The Mirwyn River

The Mirwyn River forms the eastern borded of Waeldstone, beginning in the Goulcrest hills, carving through the Elian Woods, and churning past Cloverfair before combining with the Saelle.

The water sparkles with silver and gold dust it collects on its way through the hills, drawing many a hopeful into its rapid banks. Locals call the Mirwyn the River of Riches, risking a watery grave to improve their lot in life. Unfortunately, the rapids are so fierce, that few folk survive the ordeal. Thus, the riches to be gained are often found on the corpses, stuck in the reeds of the riverbank.
